At Gambit, we don't sell decorative objects. We equip players — those who take every game seriously, whether at home, while traveling, or between games on Chess.com.
Each chessboard is checked before shipping, so that what arrives at your home lives up to what you expect from real gaming equipment.
Why Gambit?
Because a generic chessboard can't keep up with a regular player. We believe a good chessboard must be solid, practical, and built to last — not just look good in pictures.
That's why we chose solid wood over plastic, a folding format over bulky, and systematic quality control over blind shipping.
A True Passion for the Game
Gambit was born from daily chess practice — not from a trend spotted in a supplier catalog. We know what a player notices: the weight of a piece, the precision of the glide, the sturdiness of the hinges. It's this level of demanding quality that we aim to convey with every chessboard sold.
Our Vision
To build a simple, honest brand, for players rather than collectors.
At Gambit, you don't buy a logo — you equip your next game.
Welcome to Gambit.
